*MACHINE EMBROIDERY DIGITIZING

Professional embroidery software is a very powerful and complex toolkit. As a digitizer it is my job to utilize these tools to recreate a finished sewn piece that matches the original design as closly as possible.

*TYPICAL WORKFLOW:

  • - Discuss clients expectations relating to design scale, placement and application.

  • - Finalize a design that will produce satisfactory embroidery results.

  • - Communicate embroidery design decisions to a third party digitizing service provider.

  • - Review the initial digitized file and make adjustments to any of the variables (stitch types and densities, number of trims, underlay, sewing order) as needed to optimize for production and quality.

  • - Personally produce or delagate the run of a physical sew-out and revise the embroidery until satisfactory.

  • - Depending on the clients needs, provide a physical, photographed or computer generated sew-out of the final design for approval and revise as neccessary.

  • - The approved design is cataloged and all production files are updated.

  • - Discuss any special details with production and provide them with the run-sheet and embroidery file for final production.
